All tracks by Futures Passed, made in Fruity Loops Studio 9. After getting his wisdom teeth removed, Steve was put on painkiller medication. Since the making of music is often associated with drug use, he decided to test this idea by making some electronic music tracks. This album is the resulting work, produced on April 15th and 16th of 2010.

The song "First Try" is the first song put together for Creativity Placebo. At a minute and a half in length, it still manages to be the second longest track on the EP, not counting the alternate mix bonus track.
On the Creativity Placebo EP, "First Try" was the song that was remixed the most, with a spring remix, winter remix, and one other lost to time. This example, "First Try (Spring Remix)", was not on Creativity Placebo, but was found on the Futures Passed Free Music compilation, The First Storm of Spring.
The song "Undeniably Plain" is the longest song on Creativity Placebo. The name was chosen because of how the song turned out, with it being the least weird composition in the collection. This track got some last minute tweaks before release, and on the download version of the EP with the bonus track, the original version of the mix was also included.
Right in the middle of Creativity Placebo is the shortest song, "Robot Octopus". The shortness is in part a result of having a considerably higher BPM than anything else on the EP.
The sound of a small but agile creature at the shore was what inspired this song to be named "Small Birds at The Beach".
"Distract" closes the EP with a more mild sound, but with a more experimental approach than the other chill track on the EP, "Undeniably Plain".
