Stephen Brand's car is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE with a 3100 (3.1 liter) V6 LG8 engine (the least powerful option for that generation of the car). He has modified it to improve engine performance, handling, and has even improved fuel economy while doing so. He hopes to get it to out-perform the GTP version (the supercharged 3.8 liter version) of the same car while taking advantage of the smaller, naturally aspirated engine's fuel economy. He also hopes to get at least 400,000 miles out of it before it reaches the end of its working life.
