It is nothing short of dismal. However to say that Olivia's career never took off is not accurate. After seeing a recent biography (my wife is a fan), I can tell you that she has sold over 100 million albums, placed almost 50 singles on the Billboard Top 100 chart (spanning almost 40 yrs), was the biggest selling female vocalist of the 70's, had the biggest selling single of the 80's (the equal dismal Physical) and starred in the biggest grossing musical of all time. And her grand father, Max Born, was a Noble Prize winning physisist and best friend of Einstein. Whatever one may think of her modest (in my opinion) talents, that is not too shabby of a career.
