FPFM: Futures Passed Free Music

Our web label is getting moderately well-known around small groups of people on the web (see our Last.FM plays). I think I need to step things up and improve the place. Do you have any suggestions?

Also, we're always looking for new artists! If you know any or are one, speak up!

Edit, June 24, 2010: Here's what I've got so far:

As you can see, it could use some work, but this is the first time anyone besides me has seen this.

That looks real nice! Maybe I higher definition background image, with some smoothing and some png smokey clouds css'd over it? :)

I had someone make the current background image because I can't do that sort of thing. I know what you mean by the smoke layer, though; if you're willing to help code it (in the CSS that's already there), I'm all for it.

On a related note to that, I'm considering making it so artists can have their own backgrounds, too. I don't know how to edit that into this pre-coded stuff, though.

It looks a lot better than the beta. The blue text is hard to see against the black background, though, even if it switches to green when you mouse it over.

I made a label page for you guys on RateYourMusic.

Just search up "Futures Passed Free Music" and you'll find it. I already have releases by myself and Nozzy cataloged. I'm currently working on Evelyn Warchol and (possibly) ThornBrain.

Wow, look at that first image!

The label design has come a long way.

What happened to GearDawg, though?
