January 19th is the Forum's second year anniversary as well as FPFM's first year anniversary.

For the collab, you can put in a few songs. Preferably something you haven't released yet. The due date is January 17th!

Here is last year's compilation.

Lately I've found it easier to think of beats than making art, notably because I've been listening to hipster garbage and 90s music for the past week or so.

Like always, can't promise results, but I can try to whip something up.

Alright, since the holiday collaboration is over and the forum anniversary is under a month away, I'd like to turn your creative attention this way.

I might get around to finishing a collaboration between myself and someone on the label you don't hear from. I don't know if that'll get done in time, so I have some other ideas lined up as well. This should be much easier since there isn't really much of a theme to restrict oneself to.

I should point out that both the tracks I sent you have uncleared samples. ("Run With Death" samples a portion of "Colony Of Birchmen" by Mastodon, while "Beer Battered Beats" samples a portion of "She's Not There" by The Zombies.)

Is that cool? Or should we send those back?

I'll give it some thought, but it would probably be best to keep it as original as possible on a compilation (they tend to draw way more attention).

If they don't cut the mustard I can probably think of some more that'd work in its stead.

I intended to do a cover of Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer", but never got around to it. If I finish it today, would it be able to go on the compilation?
