Got a New Monitor

Here you can discuss another one of those wonderful devices you can plug headphones into, the computer! Other electronic devices without audio ports are fine, too.

Got a New Monitor

It's an ASUS MS226 22" 1080p LCD monitor. It was $179 and has a VGA and HDMI input. Pretty simple, just how I like it. It's ultrathin, weighs only 7.2lbs, and has great picture quality. Only problems I have is that there are no stand bracket hole to place it on the wall, if you barely touch the screen, it'll leave that LCD screen mark, which doesn't happen if I push that light on my other LCD devices, and the touch-sensitive panel controls are sensitive as all hell. Other than that, it's PERFECT.

I recommend buying this if you need a new monitor and you don't feel like paying so much for a new practical monitor.

Wow... I might get that to replace my TV! Not really, but for that price, it looks really good.

Looks cool.

I could really use a monitor that I can connect my laptop to, as this monitor is quite small, which is certainly a disadvantage when using programs like FL Studio and Sony Vegas. Though I'm really low on cash at the moment, so it'll have to wait.

I myself have 1024x768 resolution on my monitor. It think it's fine and am in no huge rush to spend money on something different, but because it's my laptop, a lot of stuff like dust and dandruff can get behind the screen and make it look messy. I guess if it were free or really REALLY dirt cheap it'd be nice to have (if I even had a desktop for it or a place where I could even have room to use it for my laptop).

I use the 1280x800 monitor in my laptop, though I'm slowly making progress to just use the thing as the main computer base for it all and just have an external monitor, keyboard, hdd,  etc.

all I have now is the external mouse and keyboard (Microsoft Arc and IBM Model M/"Clicky" keyboard)

My hp pavilion f1503 feels slightly inferior to these fancy wide-screen monitors. Poor thing.
