Original YTP Music CD

I got this idea a while ago, but I didn't really have the means to manage it until recently:

FP: We should make a YTPMV CD as a forum. That would be pretty damn cool
FP: I'm talking album art and the works.

By "Original", I mean music with no backing tracks that are copyrighted material. the video itself can have copyrighted images and such, but the album will contain only audio.

If you have such a YTPMV, post it and a link to the MP3 here. Also, it'll need a name and some album art (front and back). The album art can't have anything copyrighted in it, either.

Also, feel free to submit more than one if you have them. We'll work out more details as we go along.


The final product will be posted here and YouChew.

Oh yeah, that's nice. Hm... Maybe you could make a mash-up of all your music stuff. Whatever you want to do with the music.


As for my own entry, I need to work on the 3rd (and maybe fourth) layers of that YTPMV I keep building up on ("I'll Be Honest With Ya" and "Axed Him For Help"). Those are both too plain as-is.

I was about to suggest Mycro's tennis round as one. Some others I would suggest is Chim's Bubble Bobble thingy, nsrrenard's round 2 with flashmaker, what's left of Nuthead's stuff, and (not to self-promote) my Bjork thingy.

Plus, having the member actually upload the MP3 helps as well, since they have the least compressed version of it.

It's not really very long, and I decided not to combine it with my other YTPMV sections mostly because those others are really repetitive in comparison.

Alright, I've got the ID3 tags filled out for that, except for the album name, which reminds me: We need a title for this.

It needs to be something that we all can agree on, and refrencing the forum would be nice, since it's only members doing it. Also, if we plan on doing more (which I'm all for), "volume 1" would be in the title.

If only I get the HD Mac back on track and cured from it's X-ray radiation sickness, I'll make something for the album. Hopefully it will be soon so I can do this plus a tennis game woth Voda, YTPs and upcoming sprite movies.

This album will be featured on the PoopCast on YouChew! That is, if you want your song to be used. I'll assume no until you say yes.
