Here you can discuss another one of those wonderful devices you can plug headphones into, the computer! Other electronic devices without audio ports are fine, too.

My choice is Sony Vegas, because that editor is the BOMB!

But actually I use Vegas Pro 8, by useing a keygen to unlock it now I'll have it FOREVER.

Windows Movie Maker, definitely. It has a real asthetic that I love- you can always tell when a video was made in WMM.

These first 3 posts are quite an eye opener, in so many ways.

Not really, is user friendly and it makes some of the basic Youtube Poop effects.

All the editors suck, and wmm is the most buggiest, we know there are a lot of good wmm poopers, but that doesn't mean their editor doesn't suck. In comparison to other editors that are just as bad as wmm, the others are more user friendly. I'd favor adobe only because I'm too lazy to get vegas or anything else. I'm just sticking with this buggy shit.

Although Vegas is the easiest to use, I'm going to say my favorite is Adobe Premiere because it was the first editor I started with and I still love it.

I'll have to say Vegas, the only other video editor I've tried out was WMM, and it was way too limited and buggy for me.

This. Vegas 5 doesn't exactly run perfectly on my computer, but I love the myriad of things you can do with it.

I'd like to get Vegas 9 sometime as well, just to compare the two.

Masking is pretty easy once you know where to find it.
Open up the pan/crop thing on the clip, and where the time line is on the bottom, there should be an unchecked box that says "Mask".

Once you have that open, click on the pen tip looking thing and click on the picture, make a square or some shape. Once it's closed in, it'll cut everything outside of the shape out.
