Remix Fodder: A Multi-Track Thread

Postby Steve » Mon Jan 11, 2010 11:03 pm

Post all the split-up tracks you can find downloads for. These are unmixed versions of songs that allow for tweaking, remixing, or just a look at how music is produced. Maybe we'll get some remixes out of this.

"Creep" by Radiohead: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Vocals

I'll post more later. I know Mac and Elekari have a few.

Creep's guitar track is great. There's a video of me listening to it in the car that never made it to YouTube.

Mac has a few? A few? I have like, hundreds dude. I JUST got three great ones yesterday. The Logic Pro files from The Killers, and two other artists I've never heard of but are famous in Europe or something.

Well then post some, dude! I had no idea you had a secret warehouse full of 'em. Share the goodies; be a musical socialist.

"Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse:
Bass - Drums - Guitar - Vocals

I should start uploading them in zips, that would be much faster/easier for both parties.

Oh man

I've seen some guy on YouTube that has a bunch of mult-track stuff, but I can't find it now. Hopefully he wasn't suspended ;_;

Remix Fodder: A Multi-Track Thread

Here's the vocal only version of "Starry Eyed" by Ellie Goulding (not my upload). The song has about 20 remixes, so odds are it's easy to remix, or fun... Or both. Pretty cool song on its own; sounds like Passion Pit with female vocals.

Ooh, I have some of these! Don't know if anyone's interested in Nine Inch Nails, but multi-tracks of Trent Reznor's stuff pops up occasionally on his site.

The Big Come Down

Nabbed this one a few years ago. It's the not complete song, unfortunately, but perhaps someone can still use it. I have a bunch more at home for the music from Year Zero, but those were actually released on a bonus disc with the album Y34Z3R0R3M1X3D. I can post those if you guys aren't bugged by that, though.

I'll have to go back through and see what else a remix.nin.com account/membership in The Spiral can get me.

The band Metric has a remix contest right now for one of their songs:

Multitracks are made available from the band, but I think at a cost! I asked somebody from what to upload them for me.

Nine Inch Nails, never one for the traditional music industry hoopla, has a lot of his material available as multi-tracks in various formats in a section of his website.

Available here. All you need to do is sign up.

Methinks that the links should all be compiled at the beginning in a big list for those who don't feel like scrolling through the whole thing, too.
