Here's a place to type things and people might read them. If you're lucky, someone will respond; if you're even luckier, that response will be nice!

What happened, RAK?

Although it's not the worst thing that I've had happen, I had quite a turn-around happen to me recently: I was having a record income level on my Google Ads in September, I had a date set up, and I was hanging out with one of my best friends for a while. I get home from that to find a problem with the site that has brought in the most income by far (Cars Simplified had a URL formation problem that Google didn't like, and my impressions/etc. went down more than 80%), my date ends up having a bunch of school/work stuff come up, and I end up being an unwanted third wheel for my friend and his girlfriend.

It was like I was a kid in life's store, I found something really cool, and the shop owner comes over and smacks it out of my hands saying "don't touch that!".

that does suck, FP.

my three day hell went like this -

monday, my friday (as it is my last day of work before two days off), i got a cold, focusing itself in my throat.  monday, it moved to my face, and tuesday (and since) it decided to reside in my chest.

early teusday morning, right before i go to bed, my "girlfriend" shows up.  she keeps me up will around 3:30 pm (i usually go to bed at 6 am) with all her drama with her wife of 12 years (yea, she's been gay all this time.... something about me is convincing her to at least be bi or something, i dunno)  i get a nap, and at 8pm, i discover she is visiting my neighbor, her cousin, so i get to deal with more of the same drama till about midnight.  i go to sleep again.

she wakes me up around 8am the next morning, wendsday, my sunday.  wait.... Frick.  im getting days mixed up, it must have been wendsday morning that the first paragraph happened, and what i am about to relate happened on thursday for sure, because i had to work.

while she is over filling my ear with more repetitions of the same drama, she gets a call from a friend, a friend who possibly can procure for me something i buy regularly.  so i take here there and chill for a while.  i get asked to go to the store, which is no problem.  unfortunately, on the way, my rear tire on my moped finally gives out.  i put in some fix a flat to get me to a tire shop at least, but my goddamn tire falls off the rim.  and by this time, i have an hour and a half to get to work.

so, i end up stranding her at that house we were chilling at (where she specifically asked me NOT to strand her), PLUS i have to get mommy and daddy to take me back and forth to work till the tires i ordered come in.  oh, and pushing that moped with a flat tire like 5 blocks made my bum knee hurt like you would not believe.

then, my boss screws me over at work, takes off when i am really busy and behind in my work because of all the extra shit he had me do beforehand.  so i had to bust my ass triply hard to get out on time.

only one day in recent memory comes close to being as bad, the day my roommates in TN betrayed me and kicked me out.  at least that was only one day.

Well dang, that's quite a mess.

A friend of mine had a bad rim problem recently, which might have happened to your moped, so watch out for that. (If you rode on it much while the tire was flat, it might have made the edge sharp, and will cut the bead of any tire you put on there.)

i doubt my rim is that far gone.  mainly because i know better than to actually ride it when it is truly flat.

Sucks to hear about your misfortune, Rak. I guess the only thing you can do is hope that you've gotten your fill of bad days to last you a while.

I hope things get back to speed asap.

Hello, PSE. I forgot you existed. What's up?

Also, I'm not sure if I should make separate threads for this or not, but the lowdown with me lately involves delving slightly into philosophy and discovering my personal beliefs as I search for truth. I think I've grown pretty interested in humanitarian ideas and empiricism. I've honestly only skimmed the surface of this subject, but the general outlines appeal to me more than other ideas. Also, people like Jacque Fresco have opened new horizons on my interests. I'm considering enrolling in sociology courses when I return to college.

Also, Halo 4 is releasing soon and I plan on buying that. Looks like a fun, competitive game; moreso than its predecessors.

Currently in the middle of playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. About to look for the remaining 8 keys to the Sky Temple. In preparation, I also bought Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for after I beat the second game. Also, playing F-Zero GX is pretty fun. I'm definitely becoming a fan of the series as time passes.

you think quite a bit like i do, eisen.  the difference is that i also believe in a lot of transhumanist things, and i have a bad problem of looking at our species in the least anthropocentric manner possible.... like i just did in this sentence.

they should just go ahead and call empiricism common sense.  for something to be believable you must be able to see it with your own eyes.  furthermore, i wish we had a more scientific turn of mind, as a species.  or at least most of us members of western society understood the scientific method and did not view science itself as some sort of black magic.  science requires facts to be verifiable.  extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.  i guess despite visiting the moon, we are not all that long out of the jungle.

why sociology and not psychology?  it sounds like you are more interested in the latter, considering your paragraph prior was focused on it.  sociology is also interesting.  and also like psychology, it is constantly misused and abused on masses of people without their direct  knowledge.  you see, both discuiplins form the foundation of such things as PR and propaganda.  it was freud's nephew who first applied his teachings to groups and invented public relations.  you should look that evil bastard up sometime.

also, lmao console fps.

It's definitely been interesting. Also, hard to believe that it's already been two years and a little over four months since I've left YouChew to accomplish my plans for world domination...

Interesting ponderings. I've been dabbling in some logic in the past; I wonder if I'll have anything of interest to contribute to your threads.
