"Emperor Charlemagne is a novice and amateur ‘classical’ composer with a smattering of musical training and theory knowledge. He has played the piano for 10 years and brings his knowledge of music to create a few tracks of his own.

Though he considers himself primarily a ‘classical’ composer (in the loosest sense of the term), he is also willing to compose electronic, pseudo-avant garde, video game, and other genres.

He draws from his influence and inspiration the works of Johannes Brahms, Richard Strauss, Arnold Schoenberg, and a some other German Romanticists, to name a few. The works of Gyorgi Ligeti and Steve Reich also fascinate him.

Emperor Charlemagne often decries the progression of the musical avant-garde, and often emulates an older musical mode in his classical compositions in protest. Though this is not to say he is completely without modern influence and admiration.

Though his early works are hampered by technical limitations, he expresses the desire for better programming technique in the future to truly make his musical vision come alive.

He also realizes how disgustingly cheesy this description of him is."
